Randee Dayhuff - Has enjoyed the art and privilege of teaching dance to all ages. American Stars of Dance, Inc. is the dream of Kathy and Randee to teach and enjoy students as they grow in their talent and become more secure with their self-esteem.
Kathy Pierce - Has been dancing in the area all her life. As well as teaching, she currently is celebrating 15 years as studio owner with her business partner & friend Randee. She looks forward to teaching and instilling the love of dance. Bringing the joy of movement to young and old is a priority. Kathy wants the students to feel special about their accomplishments.
Becky DeRosa - Has been dancing for over 30 years and teaching for the past 10+ years. After seeing how dance and movement can make an impact on peoples lives, Becky went on to become a dance/movement therapist, a certified movement analyst, and a certified yoga teacher . She loves teaching at American Stars of Dance where she gets to be with teachers she has known since she was young and students that are always enthusiastic and live to dance.
Jaime Clesceri - Jaime took her very first dance class when she was nine years old. Miss Kathy was her teacher and it was in the Lake Villa studio. She instantly fell in love with dancing and hasn't stopped since. During her grade school and high school years, Jaime competed dance nationally in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Acro and Poms. Jamie was also a gymnast for 10 years and trained at the Gymnastics Spot. She was a member on both the 1992 & 1993 State High School gymnastics teams at Carmel High School. At Carmel, Jaime danced in the Street Scenes performances along side with Becky DeRosa. Jaime graduated college from University of Illinois - Champaign with a degree in Finance and just recently graduated from North Park University with an MBA. Jaime is thrilled to be back teaching dance after a 10 year absence. Jaime says that best part of teaching is sharing her passion for dance with her students.

Whitney Summers - Whitney has been
dancing for 18 years. She studied hip hop, jazz, kick, and poms. She was on
the Lakes Varsity Dance Team for 4 years, and was voted most valuable dancer
her senior year. She was recruited by the Universal Dance Association when
she was 17 to teach at their summer camps. She has coached poms for the Lake
Villa Timberwolves and also for the Lakes Junior Varsity Dance Team. She was
a dance teacher at Triple Threat Dance Studio and Elite Dance in New York
teaching hip hop and jazz, as well as choreographing trios and doing private
Holly Weber - Holly began her dance training studying with Gus Giordano in Evanston. She went on the University of Illinois where she received a B.F.A. in Dance with a specialization in Technical Theater. She then went on to work for the Candlelight Theater in Summit, Illinois and also taught dance for the Morton Grove, Niles and Skokie Park Districts. Currently she has been teaching preschool at the Vernon Hills Park District for the last 20+ years, and dance there for the last 5+ years.
